The Challenge
The North West Bar Association , a long-standing body of advocates in South Africa’s North West Province, had no defined brand identity and was operating on a partially built Wix website that lacked structure, consistency and functionality.
The platform did not reflect the credibility of the organisation, and key user journeys, such as browsing members, accessing resources, or managing profiles, were fragmented and difficult to navigate.
With a growing membership base and the need to present a more professional digital presence, the Association required a complete transformation, both in brand and in technology.
Our Approach
We approached the project as a full rebuild, starting from zero and creating a cohesive brand and digital ecosystem from the ground up.
We developed a new logo, colour system and stationery suite to establish a clear and authoritative visual identity. From there, we designed and custom-developed a fully bespoke website platform tailored specifically to the needs of a bar association.
The focus was on structure, usability and control, enabling users to easily explore practice areas, browse members, access resources, and engage with the Association, while giving members the ability to manage and update their own profiles through a dedicated portal.
The result is a purpose-built platform that reflects the professionalism of the Bar while simplifying how both members and visitors interact with it.

The result is a modern, cohesive brand and a fully functional digital platform that better reflects the credibility and scale of the North West Bar Association.
The new website provides a significantly improved user experience, making it easier for attorneys, members and the public to access key information, explore areas of practice, and engage with the Bar.
At the same time, members now have greater control over their presence on the platform, with the ability to update their profiles directly, supporting accuracy, relevance and ease of administration.
